I was born and raised in Mequon, Wisconsin. I studied Japanese at 成城大学 (Seijo University) in Toyko, before switching to Engineering Mechanics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

My background touches experimental and intelligent systems design, analysis, prototyping, and testing. I’ve worked to bring automated suspension systems, multiferroic commuication devices, smart manufacturing platforms, and autonomous vehicles from proof-of-concept to production.

I do my best work when I’m building products for the real world, that do things people actually care about.
